Rep. Brett Guthrie, who has served in the U.S. Congress representing Kentucky’s 2nd district since 2009, recently shared insights and declarations on various social media posts. He engaged in discussions on civic engagement and expressed personal religious sentiments in these statements.

On April 17, 2025, Guthrie shared his experience speaking to fifth grade classes at Southern Elementary in Ohio County and North Hancock Elementary. He emphasized the importance of civic engagement among Americans, noting the curiosity and insights of the students. "These students had some great questions, and I know our future is bright in their hands," he said.

On April 18, Guthrie extended Good Friday blessings, acknowledging the day Christians commemorate the death and crucifixion of Jesus Christ. "Beth and I wish each of you a blessed Good Friday," he stated.

On April 20, Guthrie, alongside his wife Beth, extended Easter greetings to his followers. He quoted a biblical verse, "He is not here; he has risen!" (Luke 24:6), conveying the spiritual significance of Easter celebrations.

Brett Guthrie, born in Florence, Alabama, in 1964, also served in the Kentucky Senate from 2000 to 2008. He now resides in Bowling Green, further representing the values and interests of Kentucky’s 2nd district in Congress.
