Later that day, Guthrie mentioned his recent interaction with Spectrum News about his work on the TAKE IT DOWN Act. "I recently spoke with Spectrum News to discuss my work as Chairman of @HouseCommerce to pass the TAKE IT DOWN Act and protect our children on the internet." highlighted the need for protection against online harms affecting families and communities nationwide.

On April 16, 2025, Guthrie visited Mouser Custom Cabinetry, a manufacturing business in Elizabethtown. He discussed with them ways Congress can bolster American manufacturing. "This week, I had the opportunity to tour a great Kentucky manufacturing business, Mouser Custom Cabinetry in Elizabethtown."
