Yesterday, U.S. Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) made another move in his ongoing battle against COVID-19 mandates by introducing a resolution to protect Senate Pages from vaccination requirements. He offered an amendment to the Fire Grants and Safety Act that would have made funding available to fire departments that reinstated firefighters who had been terminated for refusing vaccination or voicing opposition to mandates. He also introduced the Travel Mask Mandate Repeal Act of 2021, highlighting his opposition to COVID-19 mandates without a scientific basis.
