U.S. Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky is continuing his fight against COVID-19 mandates, this time focusing on protecting Senate Pages from vaccination requirements. In a recent resolution, Dr. Paul aimed to safeguard the individual freedoms of Senate Pages and put an end to unscientific mandates.

Dr. Paul's resolution is based on scientific studies that have shown a heightened risk of myocarditis for children and teenagers after receiving an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine. He argues that, for young and healthy individuals, the risks associated with the vaccine outweigh the risks posed by the virus itself. Furthermore, there is a consensus that the vaccines do not fully prevent the transmission of COVID-19.

However, Senate Democrats have once again objected to Dr. Paul's resolution passing by unanimous consent. This is the fourth time that they have refused to follow the science and support his efforts.

Dr. Paul has been a vocal advocate for individual freedoms and has taken a series of actions to defend Americans against COVID-19 mandates. In the past, he introduced similar resolutions to lift vaccine and mask mandates for Senate Pages. In addition, Dr. Paul has been active in addressing COVID-19 mandates in other areas. He offered an amendment to the Fire Grants and Safety Act that would have made funding available to fire departments that reinstated and provided backpay to firefighters who were terminated for refusing vaccination or opposing mandates. He also introduced the Travel Mask Mandate Repeal Act of 2021, highlighting his opposition to COVID-19 mandates without a scientific basis.
