City of Rochester recently issued the following announcement.

We will be having soups, chili, desserts and drinks. This is a free event, although we appreciate any donations of soup, chili, desserts, drinks, crackers. Santa will be coming at 7 to visit the children and give them a small gift. We will also have angels on our tree for anyone who would like to sponsor a less fortunate child. Please keep in mind this will most likely be the only gifts the child receives, so we suggest if you take an angel that you spend $50 minimum to buy toys, clothes, etc. You may also chose to partner with someone to sponsor an angel. We look forward to seeing you at our Annual Community Christmas.
