On November 20, Rep. Guthrie highlighted his meeting with representatives from the Kentucky Council of the Aging from Jefferson County. He emphasized his commitment as Health Chair of the House Commerce Committee to ensuring that seniors have access to preventative health care services. "This week I met with representatives from the Kentucky Council of the Aging from Jefferson County to discuss older Americans and their needs."
The following day, November 21, Rep. Guthrie expressed support for a bill proposed by Rep. Brian Mast aimed at expediting the passport application process. He noted that current wait times are lengthy due to outdated paper methods and supported efforts to modernize this process.
