Brett Guthrie, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Kentucky's 2nd district, has recently engaged with his constituents through a series of tweets. Guthrie, who replaced Ron Lewis in 2009 and has served since then, addressed various community concerns and initiatives over the past few days.
On March 24, Guthrie reached out to residents of Kentucky's 2nd district experiencing issues with mail delivery. He stated: "If you are a resident of #KY02 and are having issues receiving your mail, my office might be able to help. Fill out the form below for assistance."
The following day, March 25, he expressed enthusiasm about hosting members of the University of Kentucky Student Government in Washington D.C., stating: "It was fantastic to welcome members of the @universityofky Student Government in Washington today! Thanks for coming to discuss ways that Congress can partner with you to support University of Kentucky students. Go Big Blue!"
On March 26, Guthrie highlighted the work of first responders from Kentucky Emergency Management (KentuckyEM) who visited Washington D.C. He remarked: "Our incredible first responders with @KentuckyEM are the first to answer the call when natural disasters occur in our Commonwealth." He thanked them for their efforts in responding quickly to severe weather events in Kentucky's 2nd district.
