On March 22, 2025, Rep. Guthrie expressed gratitude towards the Southern Star Pipeline team for hosting him at their office in Kentucky's 2nd district. He mentioned discussing significant issues facing the gas pipeline industry and strategies to enhance American energy production. As Chairman of the House Commerce Committee, he emphasized his commitment to reducing costs for families in Kentucky.
