Rep. Brett Guthrie, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Kentucky's 2nd district since 2009, recently shared several updates via social media. Guthrie, born in Florence, Alabama in 1964 and currently residing in Bowling Green, took to Twitter to discuss legislative actions and upcoming media appearances.

On December 11, 2024, Rep. Guthrie expressed his support for the Liberty in Laundry Act by stating: "This week, I was proud to vote for the @HouseCommerce's Liberty in Laundry Act to get the federal government out of your washing machine. The dirty laundry that the Biden admin won’t tell you is that Big Government solutions like this are used to fulfill a Green New Deal Agenda…”

Two days later, on December 13, 2024, he announced an upcoming interview on a television program: "Make sure to tune into my interview tomorrow (Friday) morning at 8:10am ET on @MorningsMaria to discuss my agenda as the next Chairman of the Energy & Commerce Committee."

Later that same day, Rep. Guthrie commemorated the anniversary of a military organization with gratitude: "Happy 388th Birthday to the @USNationalGuard, thank you to all of our guardsmen across Kentucky and our nation for answering the call to protect our country at a moments notice."
