Congressman Brett Guthrie has been sworn in to represent Kentucky’s Second District in the 119th Congress. Following his swearing-in, Guthrie released a statement expressing his gratitude and outlining his priorities for the upcoming term.

"I am humbled at the honor and privilege of continuing serving our Kentucky communities for the next two years in Congress," Guthrie stated. He emphasized his commitment to providing key services to constituents and advocating for their needs in Washington, D.C.

Guthrie also highlighted his new role as Chairman of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce. "I am committed to working with President Trump and Speaker Johnson to deliver on our America First agenda," he said. His focus will include restoring American energy dominance, reducing healthcare costs while maintaining access to lifesaving treatments, and safeguarding children online while promoting technological innovation.
