Yesterday, U.S. Senator Rand Paul introduced a resolution to protect Senate Pages from COVID-19 vaccination requirements, as part of his ongoing efforts to safeguard individual freedoms and challenge unscientific mandates. Senator Paul cited multiple scientific studies that have shown a heightened risk of myocarditis for children and teenagers after receiving an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine. He also pointed out that for young and healthy individuals, the risks posed by the vaccine may be greater than the risks posed by COVID-19 itself. Furthermore, Senator Paul highlighted the consensus among experts that the vaccines do not stop the transmission of COVID-19.

Despite the mounting evidence and the importance of following scientific recommendations, Senate Democrats once again objected to Dr. Paul's resolution passing by unanimous consent. Senator Paul expressed his disappointment with their refusal to prioritize common sense and the well-being of individuals.
