BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – People in Bowling Green, KY are benefitting from the Remote Area Medical (RAM) program at Western Kentucky University (WKU). The RAM program is hosting a free two-day pop-up clinic, providing free medical, dental, and vision services to those who may be underserved.
"All services are completely free," said Clinic Manager Vicki Gregg. "Thanks to students from the WKU RAM program, the UK Dental School, and many other volunteers, hundreds of lives are impacted by the clinic."Gregg shared an example of one of the many heartwarming stories from the clinic. She said, "We had a lady that had never seen the color of her baby’s eyes because she just couldn’t see it. We got her a pair of glasses and she saw her baby’s eyes in color for the first time."No I.D. or insurance is required for the free pop-up clinic.
