East Metro Conceptual Drinking Water Supply Plan Info Session

This meeting will take place at Prestwick Golf Club, 9555 Wedgewood Drive, in Woodbury.
The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and Minnesota Department of Natural Resources are hosting meetings to share drinking water supply options for those living and working in the East Metro Area.
At the meetings, learn about the list of long-term drinking water supply options and their associated costs. The MPCA and DNR would also like to hear your thoughts as they begin evaluating the list of options and develop recommendations.
Representatives from each of the 14 affected communities along with MPCA, DNR, MDH, Washington County have been working together to identify long-term drinking water supply options for evaluation.
The list of long-term drinking water supply options and recommendations are part of the Conceptual Drinking Water Supply Plan; a key component to ensuring that drinking water needs and options for the East Metropolitan Area are appropriately and thoroughly considered. The plan will take into account both public water systems and private wells, using a region-wide approach.
