Senator Rand Paul published several posts on his X (formerly Twitter) account between October 11 and October 14, 2025, commenting on government efficiency, a diplomatic achievement in the Middle East, and the legacy of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
On October 11, 2025, Paul questioned the necessity of some federal agencies, stating, “If entire divisions of the federal government can vanish overnight and no one notices, were they ever truly essential? Credit to @russvought for slashing bureaucratic bloat. Let’s do more of this—even when the government is open.”
Three days later, Paul acknowledged recent developments in international relations. On October 14, 2025, he wrote, “These moments are hard-fought and rare. The historic Middle East peace deal achieved this weekend proves that bold, decisive diplomacy can reshape the course of history. @POTUS deserves unequivocal credit for making this happen. Thank you, President Trump, for accomplishing what”
Later that same day, Paul commemorated Charlie Kirk, stating, “Today we remember Charlie Kirk on what would have been his 32nd birthday. His dedication to liberty, free speech, and the American spirit continues to inspire a new generation. I look forward to honoring his legacy as President Trump awards him the Medal of Freedom.”
Senator Rand Paul represents Kentucky in the U.S. Senate and is known for his advocacy for limited government and individual liberties. Charlie Kirk was a prominent conservative activist and founder of Turning Point USA. The Medal of Freedom is the highest civilian honor in the United States.
