Senator Rand Paul, a U.S. Senator from Kentucky who has emphasized limiting government to its constitutional role and promoting fiscal responsibility, used his social media platform on March 13 and 14, 2026, to advocate for legislative changes concerning vaccine liability, election integrity, and accountability for public health officials.

On March 13, Paul announced the introduction of new legislation: “I introduced the End the Vaccine Carveout Act to repeal broad liability shields for vaccine makers. The government should protect the right to a jury trial, not legal immunity for corporations. If you’re harmed, you deserve real recourse. Pass this bill now.” The post highlights his stance that individuals should have access to legal recourse if harmed by vaccines rather than companies being shielded from liability.

Later that day, Paul commented on another legislative initiative: “The SAVE Act is common sense—it requires proof of citizenship to vote and removes illegals from voter rolls. Every Senator should go on record. The real risk is illegitimate votes and lost trust. Voter ID is basic election integrity.” This statement underscores his support for measures requiring proof of citizenship as part of voting protocols.

On March 14, Paul addressed issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic response: “Fauci and his cronies weaponized ‘science’ to silence anyone who questioned them. I referred him to both the Biden DOJ and Trump DOJ for lying to Congress. There must be consequences—no one is above the law, and no one gets to smear honest scientists without being held”. In this post, he referenced actions taken against Dr. Anthony Fauci regarding testimony before Congress.

Paul has served in the Senate since 2010 representing Kentucky and has chaired the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs (official website). He also founded the Southern Kentucky Lions Eye Clinic in 1995 to provide eye care for needy families and has authored books including ‘Deception: The Great Covid Coverup’ and ‘The Case Against Socialism’ (official website). His legislative focus frequently centers on individual rights, oversight of government power, and maintaining fiscal discipline.
